Nursery

Our nursery accommodates for children aged 3-5 years old. The children have access to a wide range of activities which help them to develop the skills for a seamless transition to school. In our nursery the children follow the Curriculum for Excellence, which allows our Staff to develop the children’s interests encouraging them to take the lead in their learning. We are delighted to have our ‘forest’ area which all children can access daily. This provides our children with free flow play both indoors and outdoors. This allows our children to have a natural environment with quality learning experiences.

Little Learners Nursery work in partnership with The Highland Council, this means we are able to offer funded early learning and childcare spaces for all 3-5 year old’s and eligible 2 year old’s.

Care Inspectorate inspection on 8th December 2021 identified the following:

“We observed the children having lots of fun taking part in both indoors and outdoor play.”

“While outdoors, the older children were engaged in their play in a purposeful and meaningful way. Children were encouraged to follow their interests and curiosities and lead their play experiences.”
